Ending 2025 Strong: Highlights from Nebula’s December Product Release

Keywords Update: A Cleaner, More Predictable Keyword Experience

This release introduces refinements that make keyword creation and execution more intuitive. These updates include:

  • Persistent headers for empty keyword categories

  • “New” status for categories that do not yet contain keywords

  • Smarter tooltips that appear only when names are truncated

  • Streamlined New Category and Add Keywords flow

  • Clearer, single-category run dialog with disabled actions during active runs

  • Updated deletion behavior and layout improvements

These improvements result in a more consistent and predictable keyword workflow across matters.

Bulk Updates for Two-Factor Authentication

Admins can now mass update Email or Duo 2FA settings using comma-separated-value (CSV) files. This significantly accelerates onboarding, simplifies authentication maintenance, and supports more consistent security policies at scale.

Improved Upload Experience: Virtual Scroll and Warnings

Better Upload Visibility:

  • Upload lists now load dynamically, improving responsiveness even with large upload sets. The updated tabbed layout replaces the expanding lists and hides unnecessary repositories for users with limited access.

Greater Upload Protection:

  • Nebula now provides advance warnings before any action that could interrupt active uploads, including navigation, browser tab closure, logout, session timeout, or session pause and resume. These safeguards reduce accidental disruptions and protect user progress.

More Accurate Reviewer Selection in Workflow Reporting

  • Reviewer lists now display only users who have actually interacted with a workflow. This includes users who checked out batches, coded documents, or belong to groups assigned to workflow stages. This results in cleaner lists and more accurate reporting.

Backend Enhancements

The above updates represent only part of what was released in December. December backend enhancements also include:

  • Admin schema updates that support more structured, scalable configuration

  • Batched correspondence attribution extraction that improves processing efficiency

  • Configuration system UI updates that make complex settings easier to manage

Together, these releases reinforce Nebula’s commitment to performance, clarity, and reliability for our clients and their users. From smoother keyword management to stronger administrative controls and enhanced backend processes, these improvements elevate daily workflows and strengthen the foundation for what comes next.
